"My Cat from Hell"

Films: The Black Cat (1981)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted home/Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of an average cat.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Cats are often considered to be the one pet that looks down to man in contrast to dogs looking up to us. Truth is, you can never actually tame one. Especially not one that embodies your worst aspects.

History: Robert Miles was the local supernatural professor and misanthrope of a minor English village. His only companion was a strange black cat that seemed to hate him just as much as he hated everybody. But now there are murders going on around the place, and while many blame Miles, the truth is that this cat is a spiritual force that has taken Miles' hatred and turned into incentive to kill.

Notable Kills: Makes a guy fall onto pikes, and sets another on fire.

Final Fate: The cat's body is hung and killed, but the spirit continues to torment the humans until it almost fully corrupts Miles. He humbly admits that all of this madness could have been avoided if he had realized the cat's true nature sooner.

Powers/Abilities: Can be anywhere at any time, and influence those with blackened hearts.

Weakness: None

Scariness Factor: 4.5-Cats can be a pain to deal with, but how about a calculating homicidal one that is also a spirit of hatred? That sounds fun, right? Enjoy your early demise at this furball.

Trivia: -That fire scene almost killed the actor in it when a fake wall almost collapsed onto her.

-Miles was originally going to be played by Donald Pleasance, but the role was given to Patrick Magee instead.

I always knew cats were papercut demons, but...

Have some honor, kitty! Let them finish.

The path to hell is often unexpected.

Yeah, it's not often you see a flaming mass of screams hit the pavement.
